Current Whereabouts: Last observed on ██/███/██ inside of former author Daniel Miller's residence. It had been located in his bedroom, 12in from his mangled remains, facing them. Due to the gruesome scene, we had to exit the room immediately. Upon re-entering the room, about 2 hours later, there was a large hole in the bedside window, with ADF-2 nowhere to be seen.
Description: ADF-2 is a side chair constructed of oak wood. It stands about 2.5ft tall and 20in wide. The chair has intricate carvings along its back that appear to be a written phrase in German, reading „Von der Sünn’ obēn biß in die Finſternuß untēn bin ich ein lärment Geiſt.“ Under it is a 3 Dimensional carving of an eagle1. ADF-2 has only been documented as displaying its anomalous properties upon being brought to the residence of one Daniel Miller, a well-respected late author, with him expressing no knowledge of the chair's origin beyond the fact that he purchased it at an auction. ADF-2 presents its anomalous properties by following a pattern of amorous actions and events. Reported events include the subject feeling as if ADF-2 is watching them or waiting for them to fall asleep. It has even been reported that, in some cases, the subject will dream of being hugged by an invisible entity, as well as feeling the sensation of being tightly hugged as they fall asleep. These events will continue escalating in aggression, with the reported physical sensations starting to feel "forced" and "violent". According to current research on the anomalies' physical actions, the chair associated with ADF-2 will first begin appearing in locations where it wasn't previously located2 while no visual contact with the chair is being made. This activity is harmless and has been documented to last about 3 weeks; however, several hypotheses indicate that it could last anywhere from 2 to 5 weeks. As time passes, a noticeable escalation will become apparent as the chair begins appearing in the subject's bedroom as they sleep, always facing them. This continues for two to three nights, finally culminating in the sudden ███████ and ██████████ of the resident, resulting in death. The current theories proposed by Dr. Lee suggest that the chair associated with the ADF-2 phenomenon is not the actual entity, but rather an entity that uses the chair as a conduit.

Dr. Lee: Let's not get off topic… the chair… tell me what you have noticed about it as of late.
Daniel Miller: I bought it from an auction… it seemed like a nice antique, you know? It started moving… from here to there, from the living room to the kitchen, hell even the bathroom, one time, but… it really creeps me out…

On the Topic of Our Stay:
We have been observing the chair for two days now, and what we have discovered is surprising. I thought to myself when I took this case, surely it must be bad, but surely it can't be… It seemed so passive, like a simple myth that Mr. Miller was fooling himself with his books. After all, it did have to do with isolation. But our camera confirmed the chair does move, although it was not in the way I was expecting. It moved as if an invisible force had picked it up and walked it. Perhaps, instead of a poltergeist-type phenomenon, I believe it is most likely an entity associated with the chair.

It appears that we need to fire a secretary, as my tape recorder has run out of tape, which, mind you, I explicitly asked them to pack 30 hours' worth of tape. My colleague recommended that we record the audio on a cell phone and convert that into transcripts; however, that is against standard protocol. So, I will be detailing here what Mr. Daniel Miller has claimed to experience as of yet. Daniel Miller has stated that he has begun having dreams of this warm sensation he feels crawling up his leg, but he describes it as escalating to be sort of a vice grip, if you will. The chair has begun relocating itself into Mr. Miller's room. Now, my intern, Chelsea, has suggested that perhaps we move the chair to a containment zone, and I don't believe that is necessary. It seems rather benign right now.
